I’m a computer scientist working on AI, automated reasoning, and machine learning.
I did my PhD at the University of Waterloo in the David R. Cheriton School of Computer Science, supervised by Vijay Ganesh, on systems that combine learning with logical reasoning: algorithm selection for SAT and SMT solvers, reinforcement-learning fuzzers, and verification of neural networks. Before that I did a master’s at Waterloo and undergraduate degrees in mathematics and computer science at Ohio University.
These days I’m building a startup in quantitative finance.
Outside of work I listen to a lot of podcasts and watch a lot of educational YouTube. Some of that ends up on the reading list.
